Today, the actress and former cover girl is living with her family in Beverly Hills with her dogs Samantha and Olivia (above and left). The couple was married only eight years, and divorced for twenty years. Ann Turkel is still struggling to come to terms with the death of her husband, Richard Harris. Turkel is a native of New York. She was born in Manhattan and is from a Jewish, middle class family, was a student at the Neighborhood Playhouse and American Musical and Dramatic Academy when she was sixteen. Ann was spotted at a Vogue Magazine fashion show by Gloria Schiff, an editor. Within the next week, Vogue's editor-in chief Diana Vreeland had Ann shoot her first Vogue cover in collaboration with photographer Richard Avedon. Ann went onto become one of most coveted models ever, and her work was featured in top fashion magazines such as Vogue Bazaar and Cosmopolitan. Ann was a successful model in Europe, Japan and other global markets for two several years. Ann was the face of giants in cosmetics like Max Factor Revlon or Chanel.
